OUR MISSION

The Brotherhood of the Shrine is based on two pillars:

  • Having Fun​

  • Helping Children

Having fun for us as Freemasons means coming together with loved ones outside our traditional Masonic meetings, celebrating the sunny side of life and having a good time together.

Helping children through our health care system means:

  • Provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment. 

  • Provide for the education of physicians and other healthcare professionals. 

  • Conduct research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of care and quality of life of children and families.

Our Transportation Fund makes it possible to help children in Europe, Africa and the Near East to bring them to a Shriners Hospital where they can be helped with their health problems.
